I'm glad you're reaching out to get the help you need right now. Especially right now in the midst of this pandemic and social climate. It can be difficult to find a new therapist in the best of times - and it really can be an empowering process for you. I am invested in helping you live the life you really want, the way you really want to live it. I offer virtual sessions. My approach blends experience with natural compassion, humor, and insight. I'm interactive in sessions, using a holistic approach with techniques from attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and trauma-focused therapy.

I work with adults and young adults (18+) with issues from anxiety and depression to PTSD and general life concerns (direction, motivation, purpose, etc). I help individuals develop emotional strength, clarity, and confidence. I will join with you to explore patterns, identify goals, and learn skills to facilitate growth and recognize your potential.

I'm happy to talk with you briefly to see what's going on, how I can help, and set up an appointment with me or offer you referrals to some of the therapists I know that might be a good fit. I know a lot of great therapists in the area with a range of fees, availability, and clinical approaches. Most offer telehealth now. I look forward to hearing from you.

Despite ethnicity, socioeconomic status, religious affiliation, or any other personal experiences or beliefs, each of us have the same start to life at birth: a pristine slate on which to begin our individual journey. With life comes seasons of hills, valleys, new experiences, mistakes, and accomplishments, but what these seasons consist of and how we respond or react to them, help mold us into who we are and are becoming. Our endurance, perseverance, and perspective during each of these times are what make each of us unique.

Due to my own personal experiences, I strongly believe I have an affinity for troubled youth, young adults, and families. I know that I am blessed beyond words to have come out of my own childhood trauma with meager scars and have been given the privilege of walking alongside individuals struggling with the same sense of stability and self-worth I encountered as a child. My desire and passion is to help others explore how to find a sense of self-awareness, confidence, belonging, and happiness in life across all settings; school, home, work place, relationships, etc.

Regardless of whether you are in a season of planting, growing, or pruning, I would love to connect with you right where you are. Often those seasons are accompanied by bad weather, droughts, or even times when we are unable to care for and nourish the things we have around us. Yet, I think you already possess all the secrets; you might only require some assistance in exploring and discovering them along the way.
